CompTIA
CompTIA is a highly popular certification, with a strong selling point of being vendor independent, thus offers a certification track that is applicable for IT professionals in all backgrounds. The more popular of the CompTIA Certifications in the market are:
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA Security+
- CompTIA RFID+
This certification is an entry level for IT professionals to be introduced to hardware, software and basic PC troubleshooting.
Amongst the content covered in the course is hardware basics, input output, computer resources, hard drive technologies, networking basics, operating system basics and computing skills.

This certification prepares you for a career in the IT industry as you grasp the essential knowledge and skills to build, manage and maintain an IT network, and is an excellent precurser to IT security related fields.
